Thanksin advance! I have both, and the EF-S 18-55 focuses OK on the EOS-m, but not as fast or quietly as the EF-m 18-55. The adapter and the EF-S lens are big on the EOS-m. According to Dxomark the EF-m 18-55 is very good, better than the EF-S version. The EF-m lens is far better finished and has nicer zoom action.
Thecamera came with the kit lens 18-55mm, and I can't seem to apply BOKEH to give it that real cinematic look. For those of you who don't know, BOKEH, the Japanese meaning for blur, puts a blurry effect in the background while focusing on the foreground object, creating an amazing cinematic shot.
Variableaperture lenses. Lenses with variable apertures mean that the aperture changes based on your focal length. On my 18-55mm lens, I could achieve a f/3.5 aperture when zoomed all the way out to 18mm. When I zoomed in to 55mm, the widest aperture available was f/5.6. These lenses are typically lighter and are great travel options.
Thecurrent difference at a T4i body is $16 less than the kit. So the 18-55 costs very little. The EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS II goes for about $300 in U.S. stores, but you can get it from amazon.com for $174. The EF-S 18-200mm f/ IS sells for around $700 in the stores and $569 on amazon.com.
The28-135 Canon lens is consistently rated high in IQ and as close as you can get without going up to the L series glass. If you like landscapes wide, your 18-55 will still capture at the wide end. (~28mm equiv). The 28mm (~45 equiv) can still capture quite a bit of real estate out in the field though
Thelens is a very lightweight design, and has fast auto focus even without USM. Image quality suffers, though, particularly between 28โ35mm and 80โ90mm, and there is heavy vignetting when used wide open. For digital EOS cameras with APS-C sensors, the EF-S 18โ55mm lens covers the same focal length range.
TheCanon camera has a sensor of type Full frame which means that your experienced Focal length will be same as the lens specification tells us. This lens has focal length: 18-55 mm Since Canon EOS R does not have a Full Frame sensor the experience focal length you will Canon EF-S 18-55mm F 190 gram. Together they have a total weight
TheEF-S 18-55mm f/ IS II is a high-quality, standard zoom lens that will appeal to photographers who prefer to travel light. With a focal length equivalent of 29-88mm in 35mm format, the lensโ wide zoom range is suitable for most general photography. NikonAF-P DX Nikkor 18-55mm FG VR. Nikon is bringing stepping motors to its DSLR lens lineup for the first time with a pair of 'AF-P' lenses, both of which are collapsable 18-55mm zooms (one with vibration reduction, the other without). Nikon says that its stepping motor lenses are both faster and quieter than their predecessors,
